Of the 166 pupils who finished Year 11 at Chase High School in 2023, 52% stayed on in Chase High School’s own sixth form (Southend-on-Sea average 58%), 30% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 93 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 15% went to university (Southend-on-Sea 32%, England 37%), and 5% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
A level grades average D, well below the England average of B-; 0% of students achieved AAB or better including two facilitating subjects (England 18%). The largest A level subjects are Psychology, Photography and Sociology.
