Of the 207 pupils who finished Year 11 at Queensbury Academy in 2023, 40% stayed on in Queensbury Academy’s own sixth form (Central Bedfordshire average 43%), 43% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 79 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 58% went to university (Central Bedfordshire 35%, England 37%), and 14% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Media Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 29% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.
GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 40.0 against 46.1 across England and 43.6 in Central Bedfordshire, with 34% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
