Of the 262 pupils who finished Year 11 at Cedars Upper School in 2023, 44% stayed on in Cedars Upper School’s own sixth form (Central Bedfordshire average 43%), 42% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 174 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 55% went to university (Central Bedfordshire 35%, England 37%), and 29% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Business Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 45% of the year group took it, against 18% of pupils across England.
GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 48.5 against 46.1 across England and 43.6 in Central Bedfordshire, with 50% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
