What the data says
Of the 76 pupils who finished Year 11 at Oasis School 21 in 2023, 25% stayed on in Oasis School 21’s own sixth form (Newham average 39%), 22% went to a further education college and none started an apprenticeship.
Among the 156 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 72% went to university (Newham 53%, England 37%), and 26% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 41% of leavers went to one, roughly three times the England rate of 13%.
Drama is unusually popular at GCSE: 23% of the year group took it, against 7% of pupils across England.
