Of the 343 pupils who finished Year 11 at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College in 2023, 52% stayed on in South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College’s own sixth form (East Riding of Yorkshire average 24%), 19% went to a further education college and 6% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 197 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 58% went to university (East Riding of Yorkshire 37%, England 37%), and 22% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 12% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
