What the data says

Of the 199 pupils who finished Year 11 at Nicholas Chamberlaine School in 2023, 24% stayed on in Nicholas Chamberlaine School’s own sixth form (Warwickshire average 43%), 32% went to a further education college and 6% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 61 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 38% went to university (Warwickshire 35%, England 37%), and 6% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 16% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.

GCSE results in 2025 were well below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 36.9 against 46.1 across England and 48.0 in Warwickshire, with 25% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

French is unusually popular at GCSE: 78% of the year group took it, against 18% of pupils across England.
