What the data says

Of the 154 pupils who finished Year 11 at Alcester Grammar School in 2023, 93% stayed on in Alcester Grammar School’s own sixth form (Warwickshire average 43%), 4% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 73.7 against 46.1 across England and 48.0 in Warwickshire, with 100% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%) — as a selective grammar school, Alcester Grammar School admits pupils by test at 11, which drives these figures.
