What the data says

Of the 173 pupils who finished Year 11 at Etone College in 2023, 43% stayed on in Etone College’s own sixth form (Warwickshire average 43%), 27% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 72 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 50% went to university (Warwickshire 35%, England 37%), and 12% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

German is unusually popular at GCSE: 39% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 47.3 against 46.1 across England and 48.0 in Warwickshire, with 46% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
