Of the 180 pupils who finished Year 11 at The Weston Road Academy in 2023, 22% stayed on in The Weston Road Academy’s own sixth form (Staffordshire average 33%), 65% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 42 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 60% went to university (Staffordshire 33%, England 37%), and 17% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Fine Art is unusually popular at GCSE: 35% of the year group took it, against 9% of pupils across England.
