Of the 367 pupils who finished Year 11 at Exmouth Community College in 2023, 43% stayed on in Exmouth Community College’s own sixth form (Devon average 23%), 39% went to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 154 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 26% went to university (Devon 25%, England 37%), and 13% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 70% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

A level grades average C, well below the England average of B-; 9% of students achieved AAB or better including two facilitating subjects (England 18%). The largest A level subjects are Psychology, Business Studies and Biology.
