Of the 133 pupils who finished Year 11 at Birkenhead Park School in 2023, 24% moved to a sixth form college, 44% to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

19% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 39% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 39.9 against 46.1 across England and 45.3 in Wirral, with 30% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
