Of the 219 pupils who finished Year 11 at Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College in 2023, 54% stayed on in Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College’s own sixth form (Cheshire East average 40%), 28% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 126 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 56% went to university (Cheshire East 27%, England 37%), and 19% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 55.6 against 46.1 across England and 47.1 in Cheshire East, with 59% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
