What the data says

Of the 205 pupils who finished Year 11 at Harris Garrard Academy in 2023, 40% stayed on in Harris Garrard Academy’s own sixth form (Bexley average 57%), 23% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 38 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 53% went to university (Bexley 61%, England 37%), and 4% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 21% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

A level grades average C-, well below the England average of B-; 7% of students achieved AAB or better including two facilitating subjects (England 18%). The largest A level subjects are Psychology, Politics and Biology.
