Of the 82 pupils who finished Year 11 at Charnwood College in 2023, 22% stayed on in Charnwood College’s own sixth form (Leicestershire average 28%), 46% went to a further education college and 10% started an apprenticeship.
Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 10% of leavers started one, roughly three times the England figure of 3%.
Among the 35 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 43% went to university (Leicestershire 40%, England 37%), and 8% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
