Of the 144 pupils who finished Year 11 at Liverpool College in 2023, 74% stayed on in Liverpool College’s own sixth form (Liverpool average 46%), 13% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 126 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 67% went to university (Liverpool 43%, England 37%), and 35% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 55.1 against 46.1 across England and 42.1 in Liverpool, with 66% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
