What the data says
Of the 79 pupils who finished Year 11 at LeAF Studio in 2023, 38% stayed on in LeAF Studio’s own sixth form (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole average 45%), 41% went to a further education college and 8% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 101 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 25% went to university (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole 31%, England 37%), and 3% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
Drama is unusually popular at GCSE: 40% of the year group took it, against 7% of pupils across England.
Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 8% of leavers started one, roughly twice the England figure of 3%.
