Of the 263 pupils who finished Year 11 at Blue Coat Church of England School and Music College in 2023, 62% stayed on in Blue Coat Church of England School and Music College’s own sixth form (Coventry average 46%) and 25% went to a further education college.

Among the 158 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 73% went to university (Coventry 39%, England 37%), and 29% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

German is unusually popular at GCSE: 24% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 51.2 against 46.1 across England and 44.0 in Coventry, with 56% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
