What the data says

The Romsey School has no sixth form. Of the 225 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 61% moved to a sixth form college, 27% to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 61% of leavers went to one, roughly three times the England rate of 13%.

Food Preparation and Nutrition is unusually popular at GCSE: 26% of the year group took it, against 8% of pupils across England.

Most pupils take the three separate sciences: at least 62% sat Biology, Chemistry and Physics as individual GCSEs, compared with about 23% nationally.
