Of the 179 pupils who finished Year 11 at Davenant Foundation School in 2023, 64% stayed on in Davenant Foundation School’s own sixth form (Essex average 37%), 27% went to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 142 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 65% went to university (Essex 35%, England 37%), and 40% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 14% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 56.7 against 46.1 across England and 45.1 in Essex, with 68% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
