Of the 183 pupils who finished Year 11 at William de Ferrers School in 2023, 36% stayed on in William de Ferrers School’s own sixth form (Essex average 37%), 41% went to a further education college and 7% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 83 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 42% went to university (Essex 35%, England 37%), and 6% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally; 16% started an apprenticeship, well above the 7% England average.
Business Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 41% of the year group took it, against 18% of pupils across England.
