Of the 230 pupils who finished Year 11 at Harris Academy Merton in 2023, 51% stayed on in Harris Academy Merton’s own sixth form (Merton average 60%), 33% went to a further education college and 1% started an apprenticeship.
Among the 107 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 74% went to university (Merton 70%, England 37%), and 18% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.
GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 53.7 against 46.1 across England and 52.3 in Merton, with 59% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
