Of the 233 pupils who finished Year 11 at Ullswater Community College in 2023, 33% stayed on in Ullswater Community College’s own sixth form (Westmorland and Furness average 32%), 40% went to a further education college and 9% started an apprenticeship.
Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 9% of leavers started one, roughly three times the England figure of 3%.
