What the data says

Of the 78 pupils who finished Year 11 at Henley Bank High School in 2023, 15% stayed on in Henley Bank High School’s own sixth form (Gloucestershire average 46%), 51% went to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.

Fine Art is unusually popular at GCSE: 36% of the year group took it, against 9% of pupils across England.

10% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 49.0 against 46.1 across England and 50.3 in Gloucestershire, with 50% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
