What the data says

Of the 325 pupils who finished Year 11 at Jack Hunt Academy in 2023, 49% stayed on in Jack Hunt Academy’s own sixth form (Peterborough average 49%) and 37% went to a further education college.

Among the 124 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 62% went to university (Peterborough 29%, England 37%), and 12% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Sociology is unusually popular at GCSE: 34% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 44.2 against 46.1 across England and 43.0 in Peterborough, with 38% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
