Of the 242 pupils who finished Year 11 at Kingsthorpe College in 2023, 36% stayed on in Kingsthorpe College’s own sixth form (West Northamptonshire average 42%), 48% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 76 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 49% went to university (West Northamptonshire 37%, England 37%), and 10% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

German is unusually popular at GCSE: 28% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 39.6 against 46.1 across England and 44.7 in West Northamptonshire, with 30% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
