What the data says

Of the 190 pupils who finished Year 11 at Southfields Academy in 2023, 72% stayed on in Southfields Academy’s own sixth form (Wandsworth average 66%), 15% went to a further education college and none started an apprenticeship.

Among the 139 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 55% went to university (Wandsworth 59%, England 37%), and 10% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Music is unusually popular at GCSE: 21% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 49.4 against 46.1 across England and 51.8 in Wandsworth, with 48% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
