What the data says

The Roundhill Academy has no sixth form. Of the 175 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 9% moved to a sixth form college, 50% to a further education college and 7% started an apprenticeship.

Media Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 39% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

GCSE results in 2025 were in line with the national picture: Attainment 8 of 45.9 against 46.1 across England and 46.2 in Leicestershire, with 47% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Languages are a small part of the curriculum here: entries in Spanish and French and German add up to 9% of the year group, and 8% of pupils entered the full EBacc set of subjects (England 41%).
