What the data says

Of the 261 pupils who finished Year 11 at North Liverpool Academy in 2023, 39% stayed on in North Liverpool Academy’s own sixth form (Liverpool average 46%), 35% went to a further education college and 2% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 82 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 57% went to university (Liverpool 43%, England 37%), and 15% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

11% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.

Art and Design is unusually popular at GCSE: 24% of the year group took it, against 7% of pupils across England.
