What the data says

Moor Park High School has no sixth form. Of the 109 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 38% moved to a sixth form college, 25% to a further education college and 5% started an apprenticeship.

Sixth form colleges are the main next step: 38% of leavers went to one, roughly three times the England rate of 13%.

Among the 20 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 35% went to university (Lancashire 36%, England 37%), and 11% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were below the national picture: Attainment 8 of 39.3 against 46.1 across England and 45.1 in Lancashire, with 31% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
