What the data says

Of the 151 pupils who finished Year 11 at Holly Lodge Girls' College in 2023, 50% stayed on in Holly Lodge Girls' College’s own sixth form (Liverpool average 46%), 27% went to a further education college and 3% started an apprenticeship.

Among the 49 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 69% went to university (Liverpool 43%, England 37%), and 7% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

Statistics is unusually popular at GCSE: 39% of the year group took it, against 5% of pupils across England.

A level grades average C, well below the England average of B-; 0% of students achieved AAB or better including two facilitating subjects (England 18%). The largest A level subjects are Mathematics, English Language and Literature and Biology.
