What the data says

Icknield Community College has no sixth form. Of the 139 pupils who finished Year 11 there in 2023, 22% moved to a sixth form college, 37% to a further education college and 8% started an apprenticeship.

Media Studies is unusually popular at GCSE: 25% of the year group took it, against 4% of pupils across England.

Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 8% of leavers started one, roughly twice the England figure of 3%.

GCSE results in 2025 were above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 51.2 against 46.1 across England and 46.4 in Oxfordshire, with 52% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).
