What the data says

Of the 126 pupils who finished Year 11 at The Ursuline Academy Ilford in 2023, 79% stayed on in The Ursuline Academy Ilford’s own sixth form (Redbridge average 70%), 12% went to a further education college and none started an apprenticeship.

Among the 59 students who left the sixth form in 2023, 80% went to university (Redbridge 69%, England 37%), and 21% of level 3 students progressed to one of the most selective universities, against 19% nationally.

GCSE results in 2025 were well above the national picture: Attainment 8 of 56.1 against 46.1 across England and 53.9 in Redbridge, with 62% of pupils getting grade 5 or above in both English and maths (England 45%).

Drama is unusually popular at GCSE: 29% of the year group took it, against 7% of pupils across England.
