Of the 147 pupils who finished Year 11 at Richard Rose Morton Academy in 2023, 24% stayed on in Richard Rose Morton Academy’s own sixth form (Cumberland average 37%), 39% went to a further education college and 14% started an apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships are a real route from here: 14% of leavers started one, roughly three times the England figure of 3%.

Fine Art is unusually popular at GCSE: 46% of the year group took it, against 9% of pupils across England.

10% of leavers were not in sustained education, employment or training six months on, compared with 6% nationally.
